1-Day-Turn-Around On All Bacteria Sampling Results
The leading organization behind the recognized industry standard for water damage restoration, Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) has this to say on the subject of bacteria, "When dealing with category 2 (gray) and category 3 (black) water sources, it is highly recommended that an evaluation be conducted."
Here are some reasons to consider using Patriot's Bacteria Sampling and Investigation Services:

Why Can't I Point Count Wallboard Samples?
Wallboard and the associated joint compound, combined called a wallboard system, have routinely been tested for asbestos content. It is very common, when analyzed separately, for the asbestos content in the sheet rock itself to be negative for asbestos while the joint compound is usually proven to have greater than one percent asbestos content. If the same sample is composited and then re-analyzed, the result will typically yield a finding of less than one percent asbestos for the wallboard system, thus eliminating this material from being classified as an asbestos waste. This (composite analysis practice) is acceptable with the EPA.
However, it is very important to note that OSHA does not allow composite sampling analysis. Even though the composite result may be less than one percent, the asbestos content in the joint compound (usually containing 3% asbestos) will continue to trigger mandatory compliance with OSHA asbestos regulations . This includes the use of a D.O.S.H. certified asbestos abatement contractor.
For this reason, point counting a composite wallboard sample/s is clearly not compliant with OSHA regulations and should not be performed.

On September 24 th Patriot was excited to sponsor and attend IECA's (Inland Empire Claims Association) 1st Annual Texas Hold'em Tournament. All proceeds benefited the Robyn Wright Foundation - in hopes to contribute to the addition of a new room at the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House. We had a great time "pretending" to be great gamblers, as well as enjoying a fun evening with peers. For more information about the IECA visit www.ieclaimsassociation.com.
Also, Patriot looks forward to attending the First Annual Blue Goose Los Angeles/Orange Pond Golf Tournament on October 8th at the Brookside Golf Club in Pasadena. The Honorable Order of the Blue Goose International, established in 1906 is a fraternal organization of men and women who work in the insurance related industry. All proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Mission. We look forward to this inaugural event. Visit www.bluegoose.org for more information.
