Assessing Asbestos Issues
Asbestos in building materials has been a major concern among schools, insurance carriers, residential property owners, building owners, property managers, tenants and employees for the last two decades. Exposure to this seemingly harmless yet often invisible airborne material can pose serious health issues and liability risks without warning.
Solving the Asbestos Problem
Patriot has a very qualified staff of certified technicians whose task is to perform excellent field work from start to finish. Every phase of an asbestos job that we do is handled meticulously without overlooking fine details that may cause problems in the future. We begin a job by evaluating all the details required to accomplish the job in the most cost efficient and timely manner. Our certified technicians conduct a comprehensive inspection of the building or area of concern prior to sampling suspect asbestos materials.
After samples have been collected, they are delivered to the laboratory for testing. Reports are generated based on analytical results, reviewed by the field services manager and given to the customer. The reports include: recommendations in proper handling of any asbestos containing materials and project design and specifications for required abatement, demolition and renovation plans. Patriot’s involvement in the abatement phase includes air monitoring and clearance testing.
